So I have to say that 'This is the Place' is one of our favorite spots in the summer time...but we will definitely be going for a visit this winter! I love live nativity scenes.

11/26/10 - Old World Christmas Market SLC Downtown

Enjoy a new downtown holiday tradition with the Old World Christmas Market beginning the day after Thanksgiving at The Gateway Mall in the Union Pacific Depot Grand Hall. Vendors will be located both indoors and out. The outdoor vendors are housed in traditional old-world style chalets and the vendor booths indoors with be decked out with holiday splendor.

The festive atmosphere at the Old World Christmas Market is modeled after the Christmas Markets of Europe. A yearly event with origins in Germany as early as the 1300's, the Old World Christmas Market is reminiscent of days past.

Visitors will be able to shop for one of a kind, handmade items by local artisans and crafters for holiday gift giving. There will also be food vendors offering traditional flavors of the season including baked goods, traditional German & Italian food, kettle corn, candied nuts, spiced cider, and hot chocolate.

Simply put, the atmosphere at the Old World Christmas Market is irresistible!

Lighted Floats will parade down Main Street from 900 N to 100 S. The Parade will begin at 7pm. Santa Claus will be in the Parade and then greet children at the City Office Building following the parade. Bring the whole family out to watch this Spanish Fork Tradition!

We all love the witches at Garner Village, but every Christmas they also do Elves. A great opportunity to get some fun holiday pictures.
